History
Altimetrik was founded in 2012 by entrepreneur Raj Vattikuti.[3]
In 2017, private equity firm TPG acquired a majority stake in the company.[4]
In June 2020, Raj Sundaresan was appointed chief executive officer, and Vattikuti transitioned to executive chairman.[5] That year, the company announced the opening of offices in Detroit, Tokyo, Vancouver, St. Louis, and Bangalore.[6]
In July 2025, Altimetrik launched ALTI Lab in India, a center focused on rapid prototyping and applied innovation in artificial intelligence and digital engineering.[7]
In October 2025, Altimetrik completed the acquisition of Bengaluru-based SLK Software, a technology services firm specializing in AI, automation, and analytics.[8] Media reports cited the transaction value at approximately $600 million (₹5,100 crore).[9]
Operations
As of June 2025, Altimetrik employed more than 6,000 professionals, with over 80 percent of its workforce based in India.[8] Following the acquisition of SLK Software, the combined organization reported more than 10,000 employees across more than 17 countries, serving over 150 clients globally.[8]
The company operates delivery centers and offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
