Comment: It isn't clear where the notability fits for this, maybe WP:GOLDENRULE, and three lots thereof. However it is for sure that IMDB cannot be used as a source, see WP:IMDB and no sources = no article. ChrysGalley (talk) 21:42, 19 March 2026 (UTC)

Anthony John Joo
Early Life and Cultural Roots
Born on January 23rd, 2011 (a date he cheekily reminds fans is as easy to remember as "1-2-3"), Anthony’s childhood was steeped in the dual influences of New York’s fast-paced energy and his Korean-American heritage. Fluent in Korean, he has spent nearly every summer in Korea, bridging the gap between his Manhattan home and his cultural roots.
Long before he stepped in front of a camera, Anthony was a performer. At the age of four, he began studying the violin, a discipline that instilled the focus required for professional acting. By the time he reached the fifth grade, his parents recognized a natural magnetism; he wasn't just a student who liked to perform—he was a storyteller who enjoyed making others laugh through voice impressions (ranging from Bart Simpson to the Minions) and stop-motion animation.[1]
The Professional Pivot
Anthony’s entry into the industry was a quintessential modern New York story. While the world slowed down during the COVID-19 pandemic, Anthony began auditioning "in earnest." The pivot worked: he soon booked his first commercial and quickly transitioned into guest roles on major productions.[2]
His presence in the NYC acting scene was solidified with an appearance on NBC’s "New Amsterdam," a show known for utilizing the city’s local talent pool. This role served as a springboard, proving that he could handle the rigor of a professional set while still managing his favorite school subject: writing.
Disney and the Breakthrough
In 2023, Anthony reached a new level of visibility with the Disney Original Movie The Naughty Nine. Portraying Lewis, a tech-savvy fifth grader obsessed with conspiracies and gadgets, Anthony showcased a nuanced comedic timing that resonated with younger audiences. His character was the "brains" of the operation—a role that allowed him to lean into his natural curiosity and technical interests.
His career continued to expand with a role in the live-action series The Really Loud House (portraying Hudson) and various voice-acting projects. By 2026, he has become a familiar face in the Nickelodeon and Disney orbits, recognized for his ability to play characters that are both "ordinary kids" and exceptionally skilled specialists.[3]
Life Beyond the Script
Despite his rising fame, Anthony remains a New Yorker at heart. When he isn't on set or in the recording booth, he is likely:
- Competing in Squash: A dedicated athlete, he has placed in junior U13 tournaments.
- Exploring the Arts: An avid music fan, his first concert experience was a BTS show at age seven.
- Creative Hobbies: He continues to produce stop-motion movies in his spare time.
"I love pickles but hate cucumbers," Anthony once joked in an interview, a small detail that captures his witty, relatable personality.[4]
