History
According to Rat, Archy was founded after he noticed that dental software was often more than two decades old, ran locally on the office servers, and did not integrate with other enterprise software.[3][5]
Archy integrated Pearl AI's radiograph analysis into its platform in 2024.[6] In June 2025, the company introduced a suite of artificial intelligence features consisting of AI agents for insurance verification, clinical note capture, patient communication, and billing.[7]
Between 2022 and 2025, Archy raised approximately $47 million in three venture rounds led by Bessemer Venture Partners, CRV, Entrée Capital, and TCV, with the most recent round, in October 2025, also including investment from twenty-five practicing dentists.[3] [6] [2][8]
