Draft:Armenia/FAQ

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Why is Armenia listed as an Asian country?
With commonly accepted geographical definition of Europe, the boundary between Asia and Europe between the Black Sea and Caspian Sea is placed along the Greater Caucasus watershed. This line divides Georgia and Azerbaijan near their border with Russia, but places Armenia entirely in Asia. Some conventions place the boundary farther north.[1]
