Arul Pragasam[1] (born 10 January 1995) is an Indian playback singer. In 2016, he participated in the reality show sare ga ma season 2 as a contestant[2], which was telecated on Zee Tamil. He participated in Sun Tv Rajaparvai[3] show in which music director illayaraja was judge[4], where he recognized and gained popularity through his performances[5].

Early life
Arul Pragasam was born in Ariyalur, Tamil Nadu. He completed his graduation in Civil Engineering.He began studying Carnatic vocals with veteran musicians such as Shri.S.Nagai Bashiyam and Kalaimamani Shri. Ramana Bharathi.
He developed his passion towards music at the young age of 18,which made him to learn music at his own.
Career
Arul Pragasam desire to be a playback singer led him to Chennai.He debuted on television in the second season of sare ga ma in Zee Tamil. He made it to the top 8 in the contest and was appreciated[6] by top artists like Haricharan, Vijay Prakash and also by great music directors like Yuvan Shankar Raja and D. Imman to name a few and was titled "Mannin Kural" by Zee Tamil.He was eliminated as semi finalist and later performed in other music competition in Sun Tv.
As a Playback singer
Arul Pragasam's debt as a playbacksinger was in the year 2021 for the independent album song "Theeradha Kaadhal[7]" clocked million views[8] in youtube[9].
He has a huge fan followers for his cover songs where few of his videos hit million views [10].He collaborated with several bands and performed live concerts across several countries in the world like Singapore , Malaysia, France, Germany and few more.
