Austin Gordon Otos (born August 25, 1994) is an Alaskan politician, public servant, and hospitality professional currently serving as Mayor for the[2] (KGB) which includes the cities of Ketchikan, Saxman and surrounding communities encompassing a total area of 6,654 square miles (17,230 km2).

Education and Early Life
Austin Otos was born and raised in Ketchikan Alaska, graduating from Ketchikan Highschool in 2013. In 2017, Austin Achieved a baccalaureate degree in criminal justice from the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA).
Career/Public Service
Prior to his election as Mayor, Austin served two consecutive terms, (2019-2022) (2022-2025), on the Ketchikan Gate Way Borough Assembly. At the age of 31, Austin Otos is one of, if not the youngest Mayor in Ketchikan Gateway Borough history. Austin also serves as the current director of Ketchikan Youth Court, a role he has held since at least 2019.
Public Persona/Social Media Presence
Under the social media moniker[3], Austin become known as a frequent voice throughout southeast Alaska's political community, often engaged in fact-checking and accountability involving local and state public and political figures.
