Avi Hiaeve is a business executive who is the founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Avi & Co., a New York City–based luxury watch and jewelry retailer.[1] In 2024, he purchased the former New York City Playboy Club building at 5 East 59th Street, with plans announced at the time to convert it into company headquarters and a retail showroom.[2][1]

Early Life
Avi Hiaeve was born on July 12, 1988 in the country of Uzbekistan to parents Alexandra and David Hiaeve. There, Avi’s father, David, worked as a watchmaker before the Hiaeve family moved to Israel when Avi was 2 years old. When Avi was 14 years old, in 2002, the family moved again, this time from Israel to New York City. The Hiaeve family settled in the Forest Hills neighborhood in the borough of Queens.

Hiaeve leads Avi & Co., a luxury watch and jewelry retailer with a Manhattan location and additional boutiques in other U.S. markets.[2][3] Industry and real estate trade coverage has described the business as selling luxury timepieces from major brands including Rolex and Patek Philippe, alongside jewelry offerings.[1] As of early 2025, trade coverage reported the company operating boutiques in New York City and Miami and opening a boutique in Aspen, Colorado.[3]
