Azeezah Hashim (born 4 May 1999) is a Kenyan media personality, television presenter, and radio host. She is best known as the host of the entertainment programme 10 Over 10 on Citizen TV and for her work as a radio presenter at Hot 96 FM.[1][2]

In 2025, she became the first East African to host the Future Awards Africa in Nigeria.[3]
Early life and education
Hashim was born in Nairobi and raised in the California estate (commonly known as Calif).[4] She attended The Kenya High School, where she was a high-achieving student.[5] Although she initially qualified for a degree in medicine, she chose to pursue a career in media, citing inspiration from personalities such as Jeff Koinange and Bonang Matheba.[5]
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Nairobi with First-Class Honours.[1]
Career
Radio
Hashim began her career at NRG Radio, where she hosted the NRG Breakfast Club and the NRG AM Show.[6] In 2024, she joined Hot 96 FM to host the mid-morning show, The Breakout.[1] She also maintains a regional presence, hosting NRG Unlocked on NRG Radio Uganda.[4]
Television
Her television career started at Ebru TV as a news anchor and host. She later moved to NTV to host the youth entertainment show Teen Republik, a position she held for two years until August 2023.[7] Following her departure from NTV, she was announced as the new host for Royal Media Services' flagship Friday night show, 10 Over 10 on Citizen TV, succeeding Willis Raburu.[1]
Hosting and other ventures
Hashim has hosted numerous high-profile events, including the 53rd Miss Intercontinental pageant in Egypt (2026).[8] In February 2025, she served as the MC for Hamisa Mobetto's wedding in Tanzania.[9]
She is also a professional voice-over artist and has served as a brand spokesperson for Xiaomi Kenya for several years.[1]
