Early life and youth
College career
Sparks played college soccer at Southern Methodist University from 2021 to 2024, making 72 appearances with 14 goals and 18 assists for the Mustangs.[1] In 2024, he served as a team captain and earned First Team All-ACC honors and was named a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist.[3]
Club career
Sporting Kansas City II
Sparks made eight appearances for Sporting Kansas City II in the USL Championship.[1] He scored a stoppage-time game-winning goal on his USL Championship debut against Indy Eleven on September 30, 2020.[1][4]
Inter Miami CF II
Sparks was selected by Inter Miami CF with the 52nd overall pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft.[1][4] He played for Inter Miami CF II in MLS NEXT Pro, recording one goal and three assists in 18 appearances during the 2025 season.[1]
FC Tulsa
On January 28, 2026, Sparks signed with FC Tulsa of the USL Championship, pending league and federation approval.[1][4] In the early part of the 2026 season, he appeared for Tulsa in league play and the U.S. Open Cup.[5]
