Research
In 2023, Bancomail published a study analyzing email domain preferences across more than 3,500,000 business contacts in Europe. The research found that 70% of Italian freelancers and professionals use free email services (such as Gmail or Hotmail) rather than paid domain-based addresses, placing Italy first in Europe for free email adoption among professionals. The study was reported by La Repubblica,[3] Bitmat,[4] and Arena Digitale.[5]
Social commitment
Bancomail operates a non-profit support programme in which customers can direct 10% of their purchase value to a partner charitable organisation at no additional cost. Wikimedia Italia, the Italian chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation, has described the initiative on its website.[6] MediCinema Italia, an organisation that brings cinema experiences to hospital patients, has also joined the programme.[7]
