Bharat Buildcon 2026 is India's largest international trade exhibition for building materials and construction technologies.​[1][2]

Scheduled from 29 April to 2 May 2026 at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre, IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi.[1][3]

The 2026 edition is the direct successor to Vibrant Buildcon 2025 — the inaugural edition held in April 2025, which was inaugurated by Hon. Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry.[4][5][6][7]

The exhibition spans 22 product sectors ranging from cement and ceramics to home automation and green building materials, and is backed by CAPEXIL (Chemical and Allied Export Promotion Council of India) and the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.[2][8]

1 Background and History

1.1  Vibrant Buildcon 2025 — Inaugural Edition

The Bharat Buildcon series originated with Vibrant Buildcon 2025, held at Yashobhoomi (IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi in April 2025.[4] The event was inaugurated by Hon. Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, who in his keynote address described the building materials sector as a "game-changer for India's growth" and urged industry stakeholders to adopt best practices in sustainability and reduce import dependency.[5][6][9]

According to pre-event reports, Vibrant Buildcon 2025 attracted 165+ exhibitors, 20,000+ domestic visitors, and 765+ international buyers across a 27,000 sq.m exhibition area.​[3] The event also featured 12–13 international roadshows and 10+ domestic city roadshows in the run-up period.​[8]

1.2 Transition to Bharat Buildcon

Following the success of the inaugural edition, the organiser rebranded and expanded the event as Bharat Buildcon — a name reflecting a broader national mandate.​[1]The 2026 edition adds 14 new product sectors over the 2025 edition, integrates the Export conference, and extends the event to four full days (29 April – 2 May 2026) at the same Yashobhoomi venue.[1][10]

2 Organisation

Bharat Buildcon is Supported by Capexil , Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) registered at 2002, Wings Business Bay, Nr. Fortune Hotel, 150ft Ring Road, Rajkot, Gujarat 360004, India.​[1]

2.1 Government & Industry Backing

The event is backed by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, and CAPEXIL (Chemical and Allied Export Promotion Council of India).[2][8]

CAPEXIL is a statutory export promotion body sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce.[8]

6  India Export Context

India's construction market was valued at USD 884.72 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach USD 2,134.43 billion by 2030 at a compound annual growth rate of 12.6%.​[3] The country already exports building and construction products worth over USD 24 billion annually to more than 150 countries, with global supply chains increasingly shifting away from China toward India.[10][12]

At the Vibrant Buildcon 2025 inauguration, Minister Goyal outlined a vision for India to grow from a USD 4 trillion to a USD 30–35 trillion economy by 2047, underpinned by 20 new smart industrial cities and 100 plug-and-play industrial hubs.​[9][12]
