Draft:Calculín
Argentine cartoon character
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Calculín is an Argentine comic strip character created by the Spanish-Argentine cartoonist Manuel García Ferré in the 1950s.[1] Like other characters of his such as Anteojito, Hijitus, and Larguirucho, Calculín entertained children in the pages of Anteojito magazine. He is an extremely intelligent and studious boy, depicted as a precocious genius with an open book on his head as hair, magnifying glasses, and a white Argentine school smock. Calculín first appeared in Pi-Pío and had his own animated television series, consisting of educational short programs, and his own show, El mundo de Calculín (The World of Calculín), which began in the mid-1970s.[2]
