Capital 6 is a Canadian jazz-fusion and funk band from Fredericton, New Brunswick. Formed in the summer of 2018, the instrumental group is known for blending diverse musical influences through collaborative writing and high-energy live performances.[1]

History
Capital 6 released their debut studio album, On The One, in 2020. The record achieved national recognition, reaching **#1 on the !earshot National Jazz Chart** for the week of August 25, 2020.[2][3]
In October 2024, the band released their second album, Not My One[4]. The release was supported by performances at the Harvest Music Festival[5] and a release event at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre.[1] The album earned the band two nominations at the 2025 East Coast Music Awards (ECMA) for **Fusion Release of the Year** and **Jazz Release of the Year**.[6]
