Comment: This is getting near to notability but not yet there with the guidelines and the sources. They key guideline is WP:MUSICBIO and there is a list there of 12 criteria and the subject needs to meet at least one of this with rock solid sources. So criteria 5 - clearly Columbia = Sony = major label, but OneRPM is not in this category (and is arguably self published). Another Columbia album and the subject meets the criteria, problem solved. The other area where the subject may be getting near is criteria 1 - at length reviews of their music, since there was one with Ones to Watch - this is a good example of someone else writing about the subject. I'm not sure it's the most reliable source, but a few more like that (not too many) ideally in newspapers/magazines which are well known would help. A chart hit would also qualify.Note that interviews do not count here and that age the subject is going to be doing lots of interviews. Editorial wording around interviews does help, but there wasn't much in US Magazine of that, it was not in depth. Tmrw was mainly interview led, but there was a lot more editorial, so perhaps that's one of the requirement for "multiple". (You may want to Wayback that article, Tmrw's future may be in doubt). It's what other people say about the subject that matters. Reliable sources, not blogs. Probably a case of WP:TOOSOON, but keep looking for sources that go with MUSICBIO and it may push the dial over. For AFC review purposes, in view of the last paragraph, if you find a couple more good sources, you may want to explicitly list these 3 or 4 items on the article's Talk page, under WP:THREE, which is an essay but has good advice.Very minor point - Yahoo was a scrape of US Magazine, so current sources 7 and 9 are the same. Ditch Yahoo given a choice. ChrysGalley (talk) 09:22, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
Comment: Required more reliable and independent references to the subject. YouTube is not a reliable source. Fade258 (talk) 13:39, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
Comment: ONErpm source is a press release and doesn't do anything for notability. Other two sources look fine, but much of the rest of the article is unsourced and as such, the current sourcing does not sufficiently establish notability. Rambley (talk) 16:39, 30 June 2025 (UTC)

Career
Early Life
Peña grew up listening to music that had been downloaded onto his father's iPod, such as Coldplay, Gun N' Roses and Eminem. He then wrote his first song at eleven years old, but says, 'I can’t remember why I wrote my first song song...I’ve never actually thought about...what compelled me, eleven years old, to write my own music?' He was always drawn to folk, especially The Lumineers, who he eventually opened for during their fall 2024 arena tour.[2][3]
2015-Present
In 2015, at the age of 15, Peña became a contestant on season 9 of NBC’s The Voice For his Blind Audition. At 17, Peña began his professional songwriting career and he became successful when his song 'Up, Up & Away' was used in the 2019 movie, 'Five Feet Apart'. [2][3]
After his success as an artist in his own right, Peña co-wrote for other artists such as John Legend's lead song 'Conversations in the Dark' which was nominated for a Grammy. And the album 'Bigger Love' received a Grammy and went gold. He rose to popularity after he opened for David Kushner in 2023, leading to his 2024 headlining tour selling out in the US and UK. His breakthrough came after releasing 'I am not who I was' which made it to 'Billboard’s Hot Alternative' and 'Hot Rock Charts' By the time Peña released his debut album 'Ever-Shifting, Continual Blossoming' in 2024 which he wrote and produced, he had already gained a dedicated following and had toured the US, UK, and Europe. He also opened for Tom Odell in 2025 as a special guest.[2][3][4]
