Early life and education
CHEDDERA was born in Lagos, Nigeria. Her paternal family originates from the Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State, while her maternal family is from the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.[1]
She attended Prime Montessori School for her primary education and Stee Schools for her secondary education. She later attended Babcock University in Ilishan-Remo, where she graduated with a degree in Medical Laboratory Science.[1]
Career
2023 – present: Career beginnings and "Bullion Van"
CHEDDERA began her professional career by releasing music independently. In 2023, she participated in BudX Uncovered Enugu, a talent discovery initiative organized by Budweiser, where she finished as the 3rd runner-up.[2]
Her debut single, "Bullion Van," was released on October 18, 2025.[1] The track gained traction on the platform TikTok and subsequently appeared on the Shazam Top 50 charts in international markets, including the United States.[3]
She is currently signed to Valleytown Records.[4]
Artistry
Her music is described as "Afro Nova," a fusion of traditional Afrobeats with soul and R&B elements. She cites artists such as Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Beyoncé as musical influences.[2]
