Christopher B. Coyne (also credited as Christopher Coyne) is an American technology entrepreneur, two-time Daytime Emmy Award-nominated sound editor, composer, vocalist, and actor. He is the founder of Unknown Subject Studios. He is married to Tiffany Coyne, the model and co-host of the CBS game show Let's Make a Deal.

Early Life and Education
Coyne was raised in Acton, Massachusetts. He played NCAA Division III ice hockey as a defenseman for Fitchburg State University during the 1991–1992 season.[1]
In January 2026, Coyne completed the online program "No Code AI and Machine Learning: Building Data Science Solutions" through MIT Professional Education, the continuing education division of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.[2]
Performance Career
Stage and Commercial Work
Coyne began his professional performance career in 1997 with a debut at the Sacramento Music Circus in California.[3] In 1999, he was selected to play the lead role of Claude in the 30th Anniversary European Tour of Hair, cast by the show's original creators, book and lyrics writer James Rado and composer Galt MacDermot.[3]
His commercial acting credits include appearing as a featured performer in a national television campaign for Southwest Airlines.[3] He also appeared as a contestant on the Fox game show Don't Forget the Lyrics!, hosted by Wayne Brady.[4]
Las Vegas Residency
Coyne performed as a vocalist and host for over four years in two Las Vegas productions. He performed in Jubilee! at Bally's Hotel and Casino before transitioning to Les Folies Bergère at the Tropicana.[5][6][7] On March 28, 2009, Coyne performed in the final performance of Les Folies Bergère, which had run continuously at the Tropicana for 49 years.[8]
During his Las Vegas residency, Coyne also served as a guest vocalist with The Las Vegas Tenors, performing at the Hilton and Suncoast Showroom.[9]
Voices 3
In April 2011, Coyne debuted as a member of the vocal trio Voices 3 alongside entertainers Bill Fayne and Teddy Davey at the Suncoast Showroom in Las Vegas.[10] The group performed multiple genres including opera, R&B, jazz, classic rock, country, and Broadway. Voices 3 returned for subsequent engagements at the Suncoast Showroom in September 2012.[11]
Solo Music and Film Composition
In 2014, Coyne composed and performed the original theme music for the film By God's Grace (directed by Brett Eichenberger ), executive produced by Adelia A. Coffman, a co-founder of Qualcomm.[12]
An EP titled By God's Grace, featuring five original songs including "By My Side" (featuring Davy Nathan), was released in December 2015 under Beartown Music.[13]

Video Symphony and Technicolor Sound Services
Coyne trained at Video Symphony, a professional audio and film school in Burbank, California, where he earned a certificate in audio production and became an Avid Certified Expert in Pro Tools. He subsequently worked at Technicolor Sound Services on the Paramount Pictures lot in Hollywood.[3]
Unknown Subject Studios
Coyne established Unknown Subject Studios in Encino, California as a post-production and Foley facility. The studio has provided sound design, Foley editing, and mixing for animation productions distributed by Disney, DreamWorks, Netflix, Warner Bros., Nickelodeon, Paramount+, Apple TV+, and Amazon Prime.[4]
Animation credits include: Curious George, Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?, Harvey Girls Forever!, Elena of Avalor, The Adventures of Puss in Boots, Cleopatra in Space, Where's Waldo?, Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Big Hero 6: The Series, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Milo Murphy's Law, Spirit: Riding Free, Home: Adventures of Tip and Oh, New Looney Tunes, Bunnicula, Bunsen Is a Beast, Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz, and Harvey Street Kids.[4]
Star Wars Franchise
Coyne's post-production credits include two entries in the Star Wars franchise: Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi (2022, 6 episodes) and Star Wars: The Bad Batch (2023, 13 episodes), both produced by Lucasfilm for Disney+.[4]
Music Department Credits and A&R
Coyne served as music consultant on Jumanji: The Next Level (2019).[4] Since 2015, he has worked as a freelance A&R representative for Fervor Records, placing over 40 songs across various networks and streaming platforms. This includes the placement of his father Rick Coyne's 1959 composition "Angel from Heaven" in Jumanji: The Next Level (2019).[4]
Personal Life
Coyne resides in Simi Valley, California, with his wife, Tiffany Coyne (born Tiffany Lynn Adams), whom he married in 2011.[14] They have two children: Scarlett Rose (born 2013) and Carter Liam (born 2018).[4]
Tiffany Coyne is the model and co-host on the CBS game show Let's Make a Deal, a role she has held since 2009, having taped over 3,000 episodes across 19 seasons.[14] In May 2020, Scarlett Coyne appeared on Let's Make a Deal as part of a "Kids Take Over" episode.[15]
Coyne's father, Rick Coyne (known professionally as Ricky Coyne ), was a rockabilly musician who formed Ricky Coyne and His Guitar Rockers in the Boston area, recording for Event Records in 1958 and 1959.[16] Rick Coyne's 1959 composition "Angel From Heaven" was featured in the 2019 film Jumanji: The Next Level.[17]
Coyne's brother, Steve Coyne, holds a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music and a Master of Science in Music Education from Western Connecticut State University, and serves on the faculty of the Music Conservatory of Westchester.[18]
