Christa Lewis (born 1964) is an American voice actor, audiobook producer, and narrator known for her work in commercial voice over, documentaries, and video games. A bilingual performer in English and German, she has narrated over 350 titles, earning multiple industry accolades including the SOVAS Voice Arts Award and nine AudioFile Earphones Awards.[1] She also performs under the pseudonym Pippa Jayne within the romance and romantasy genres.[2]

Early life and education
Lewis was born in Astoria, Queens, New York. She attended the Boston University College of Fine Arts, graduating in 1989 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. In 1990, she relocated to Germany, where she began a career in international media and broadcasting.
Career
Global broadcasting and commercial work
From 1995 to 2012, Lewis was a voice for Deutsche Welle (DW), Germany’s public international broadcaster. As a news reader and documentary narrator for DW-TV, her work reached audiences in over 60 countries. She has provided voice-over for global campaigns including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Apple, Lufthansa, and Ponds.
Audiobook narration and production
Lewis is a narrator for the "Big Five" publishing houses, including Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Macmillan, Simon & Schuster, and Hachette Book Group.[3] In 2022, Lewis and author Alison Holt were recognized by AudiobookReviewer.com as the Best Author/Narrator Team for the novel The Door at the Top of the Stairs.[4]
Pippa Jayne and Romantasy
Under the pseudonym Pippa Jayne, Lewis is a leading narrator in the romance and romantasy sectors. She has narrated series for Podium Audio and received the Sultry Listeners Award for Erotica in 2019.
Video games and animation
Lewis voiced the character SOPHIA in the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Her animation credits include lead roles in The School for Little Vampires and Lotte in Gadgetville.
