Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a state institution established under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan by Decree No. 1667 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 20, 2022.[1] Later, Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan was ratified by Decree No. 1880 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated November 16, 2022.[2]

General information
The main mission of the establishment of the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan is to strengthen the implementation of state policy in the field of cinematography and promote the application of transparent management mechanisms. The list includes ensuring the sustainability of national cinema, enriching our cinematographic heritage, improving the legislative framework within the film industry, cultivating local talent potential, maintaining the international competitiveness of the national film industry, organizing joint film production and integrating with the global film industry.
