Clootrack’s AI-powered Voice of Customer (VoC) analytics platform analyzes structured and unstructured customer feedback from calls, chats, emails, reviews, and surveys to identify sentiment patterns and thematic trends in customer experience. It operates with a remote-first model and provides services to enterprises in sectors such as consumer goods, consulting, and private equity.
History and funding
Before founding Clootrack, co-founder and CEO Shameel Abdulla launched Jiffstore, a hyperlocal grocery startup that was acquired by PepperTap in December 2015 in a cash-and-stock deal.[2]
Abdulla and Subbakrishna Rao (CTO) founded Clootrack in 2017. Abdulla had previously worked in software and product leadership roles, while Rao had experience leading analytics and product engineering teams.[3]
In January 2019, Clootrack raised about US$500,000 in seed funding led by the Indian Angel Network, with participation from IAN Fund, Unicorn India Ventures, SEA Fund, and Malabar Angel Network.[4][5][6][7][8]
In June 2021, the company raised US$4 million in a Series A round led by Inventus Capital India (now Athera Venture Partners), with participation from IAN Fund and others.[9][10]
