History

The company was founded in 2006, following Hol’s earlier work in speed skating equipment design and his involvement with the inline skating brand Mogema.[1]

Cádomotus initially focused on the design and manufacture of speed and inline skates for competitive skating.[1] During the 2010s, the company also developed helmets for speed skating, including prototypes evaluated in aerodynamic testing.[3]

In the early 2020s, the company expanded into the triathlon market with cycling shoes and other equipment designed for triathlon competition.[1][4]

Products

Cádomotus manufactures sports equipment for triathlon and skating disciplines, including cycling shoes, helmets and transition bags.[1][4]

Its triathlon cycling shoes incorporate design concepts derived from speed skating footwear, including rigid carbon structures intended to improve power transfer and stability during cycling.[1][2]

Partnerships

The company has partnered with several triathlon events. In 2022, it became the official bag and backpack partner of the DATEV Challenge Roth triathlon event.[5]

In 2024, Cádomotus announced a partnership with Challenge Family, a global triathlon race series organising events in multiple countries.[6]

Through this partnership, the company is associated with events including The Championship.[6]
