He is active in the Albanian underground hip-hop scene and has released over ten albums, collectively accumulating millions of streams on digital music platforms. He is known for achieving commercial success without a major record label.
His lyrics cover a range of subjects including social issues, personal experiences, politics, esoteric teachings, spirituality, the occult, conspiracy theories, and street life. DOZA MC performs across multiple genres, including Boom Bap, Reggae, Trap, Drill, Afro-Trap, and Rock/Hip-Hop. DOZA MC has appeared on television programs in Albania, Greece, and Kosovo, including Zone e Lire (TV Klan)[24], Why Not? (Ora News)[25], Mytma Beatin YouTube show[26], Late Night Show (Ora News)[27], KafeIn (IN TV)[28], and Protagonistes (MEGA TV, Greece), Barber Shok (TV Dukagjini)[29]. He has performed at more than 70 shows in Albania and Greece, including B-Fest Festival (Athens, 2010), Rodon Stage (Athens, 2011), Underground Hip-Hop Show (Tirana, 2015–2016), New Versus Club (Korçë, 2018), Maratona e Këngës (2019), Festa e Birrës (2019), Shqip-Hop Festival (2022–2024), and Muse X Festival (2025).
He hosted the first edition of RedBull Pasim Fjalësh[30], a freestyle battle show organized by Red Bull Albania. DOZA MC appeared in the short movie (documentary) DOZA directed by Erion Kovaçi in 2009, which won awards for Best Story and Best Screenplay at the Thessaloniki Short Film Festival in 2010.[31] He has appeared in over 30 music videos and lyric videos on social media platforms.
Early life
Mario Dino was born on September 1, 1991, in Tirana, Albania. His family moved to Athens, Greece, when he was three years old. At age seven, he enrolled at Marasleion Elementary School in Kolonaki, Athens. While he struggled with some subjects such as mathematics and science, he excelled in writing, geography, history, and memorization, and participated in school theater performances and national holiday recitations. After completing elementary school in 2002, he attended Marasleion Gymnasium. During this time, he developed an interest in music, particularly American hip-hop, discovering artists including 50 Cent, G-Unit, Eminem, DMX, 2Pac, and Dr. Dre. He began memorizing lyrics and writing his own rhymes. In 2004, he and his friends formed a hip-hop group initially called A-Unit, later renamed Al-Quatro (AL-4). Mario adopted the stage name IceBlade during this period. The group recorded their first track, Prezantimi, on September 14, 2004, which was shared among friends and classmates.
Career
2005-2007
DOZA MC released 12 singles with Al-Quatro before merging with Da New Chain, forming a nine-member collective. He made his first stage appearance on July 8, 2007, at Sala Bar Caffe in Athens, Greece. At this point he changed his stage name from IceBlade to DOZA MC.
2008-2011
With Da New Chain, he released eight singles and collaborated with Kurorat Fiks on three tracks—Stile me kile[32], Momenti per show, and Shikim qeni—from their album Nga vendi i ngjarjes. In May 2010, he released his first solo album, 18 Vjet[33], under B.A.V Records. In 2011, he appeared on Da New Chain’s album Mikrofoni i lagjes, released the mixtape Dhoma e Erret, and contributed to the compilation album B.A.V Records Vol. 1. He also performed at several events in Athens, including B-Fest[34].
2012-2014
He released his second solo album, Xham Fare[35], in January 2012. His first solo music video, Ruleta, was produced by Armando Koroni (Andy V) and directed by Erion Kovaçi and George Malekakis. In May 2013, he released his third solo album, Qesh Pak! Pse Kaq Serioz?[36], under B.A.V Records. During 2014 he released a few more singles and collaborarions.
2015-2017
In 2015, DOZA MC released the album Për Qefin Tim! and Për Inat të Botës[37]. In 2017, he released the album Ndërhyrje në Matrice[38], along with the music videos Dua të Dehem and Kamikazi.
2018-2020
He released the music videos Legend, featuring STOBS, and the music video Savagz[39], among other singles. In 2019, he released the album Engjell & Demon[40] and the music video Vetëm Ty[10].
2021-2022
DOZA MC released multiple singles produced by Alandy. The music video Shqipez appeared on YouTube’s top 100 most-viewed videos in Tirana, Albania, for two consecutive weeks.
2023-2025
In 2023, he released the album Në Krye të Detyrës[41], including the music videos Mite[42] and La Resistance[43]. In December 2024, he released the album Vitriol[44], featuring the music video Mizantrop[45]. In 2025, he released the single Ian[46] and appeared on Rob i Trash with D.M.K and TruPak[47].
2026
On January 19, 2026, DOZA MC announced on social media that he is working on a new album, Psikoterapi me Poezi[48], which is expected to be released later in the year.
