Early Life
Danny Peña lived in New York for most of his childhood where he first developed his love for video games by playing at his local New York arcade.[2] He was gifted his first console - the Atari 2600 - by his grandmother in 1984.[7] Peña using his Atari 2600 console and others that he owned, created a gaming business in the city of San Francisco de Macoris, Dominican Republic where he would charge people to play video games on those consoles (Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis).[1] This would blossom him into the video game industry, where he would start his first radio show in 2001, before the launch of the award-winning Gamertag Radio podcast.[2]
