David Xavier Sánchez Cabrera (born December 5, 1995), better known as David Daxsen, is an Ecuadorian diplomat, record producer, and entrepreneur. He is currently serving as the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of PARLACEN and the Permanent Observer of the International Youth Organization for Ibero-America (OIJ) to the United Nations.[1]

Education
Sánchez holds a degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of New Spain (UCNE), a degree in Economics from the University of Southampton, and a degree in International Business from the Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo (UEES). He has also completed specialized studies in finance, global politics, and diplomacy at institutions such as Columbia University, Duke University, the University of Michigan, and the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he was awarded two honorary doctorates (Doctor honoris causa) by UCNE.
Career
Diplomatic Work
Sánchez serves as a diplomat to the United Nations. Since February 25, 2025, he has held the position of Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the Central American Parliament (PARLACEN), where he leads initiatives for regional cooperation. As the Permanent Observer of the OIJ to the UN, he represents youth interests across 21 Ibero-American countries. He is also the founder and Secretary-General of the Council of Global Change (CGC), an organization that collaborates with global parliaments within the UN system.
Business and Philanthropy
In the private sector, Sánchez is the founder and president of Daxsen Corporation, an international holding company with operations in music, media, technology, and healthcare. He co-founded the Vanderbilt Daxsen Fund alongside Consuelo Vanderbilt to support youth in the arts and cultural preservation. Furthermore, through the Sovereign Development Fund, he has promoted strategic projects such as lithium mining initiatives in northern Brazil to foster sustainable economic development.[2]
