Deepak Kumar Kamboj (born 27 June 1991) is an Indian cricket coach associated with disability cricket in India. He has served as head coach of the Indian Disabled Cricket Team under the Disabled Cricket Control Board of India (DCCBI). Early life and education
Kamboj was born in Chimmon village in the Ratia region of Fatehabad district, Haryana, India. He completed a certified cricket coaching course from the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS), Patiala. He also holds qualifications in physical education.
Coaching career
At the age of 23, Kamboj was appointed head coach of the Indian Disabled Cricket Team by the Disabled Cricket Control Board of India (DCCBI). His appointment and coaching role were reported by regional media outlets including Dainik Bhaskar.[1]
During his tenure, the team participated in international tournaments including the Asia Cup (2015), the Oxygen Cup, and a Triangular Series involving Bangladesh.
He was later honored by local administrative authorities for his contributions to disability cricket, as reported by Dainik Tribune.[2]

Recognition
Kamboj's name has been included in the India Book of Records as an "IBR Achiever" for his association with coaching the Indian disabled cricket team.[4] Deepak Kamboj, a coach of the Indian Divyang Cricket Team, was honored by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini after his name was recorded in the India Book of Records.[5][6]
