Eddia Watts, also known as Eddia Jane Watts, is an American portrait photographer, published author, beauty queen and model based in New Jersey, known for her work in portrait and pageant photography. She has worked with contestants in New Jersey, New York, Delaware, California, Washington and the U.S. Virgin Islands and has been featured in Bold Journey Magazine, 6x Magazine, Style Cruze Magazine and more as both model and photographer.[1] Watts began her journey in beauty pageants in 2015 with notable titles like: Teen Miss New Jersey Earth USA 2016, Miss Grand Delaware 2019, Queen Beauty South Carolina 2020 and most recently Miss Massachusetts Earth USA 2023.

Early Life and Education
Eddia Watts was born in Newark, Delaware.[2] She pursued studies in photography and liberal arts, earning degrees from Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, NJ. Watts began modeling in 2015 with Barbizon Models and began beauty pageants the next year with her debut being Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2016 [[3]]. During her education, she focused on beauty pageant portraiture and english work.
Career
Before Watts became a photographer, she released 3 published novels beginning at the age of 16. Her first work 'Elena: The Beginning'--a romantic sci-fi--was published in October of 2015. Her next release, 'Nothing' was published in July of 2019. Her final release, 'Universal Goddess: How to Harness The Power of the Universe to Win the Crown' was published in February of 2022.[4] Watts worked for the Pageant Planet as a contributor in 2019 as a way to gain experience in the pageant world [[5]]. In 2022, Watts also created her own magazine, Effervescence Magazine, a spiritual magazine focused on mental health and embracing one's true self.[6] Watts served as the Editor-In-Chief with a staff of 6 women across the United States.
Watts also has extensive modeling experience as she has appeared on the 2021 'Singled Out' reboot, a viacom network television program starring Keke Palmer. Watts also opened the HiTechModa NYFW Spring Summer 2020 fashion show in September of 2019.
Watts founded Eddia Jane Photography in 2019 and serves as the principal photographer. Her work includes portrait sessions, pageant photography, modeling digitals, and event coverage.[1]
She has collaborated with several notable pageants, including Miss Grand U.S Virgin Islands, Miss International U.S Virgin islands, multiple Miss America state and local competitions, Miss Mission USA and companies like Supermodels Unlimited.
Watts has also contributed to 6x Magazine, Style Cruze Magazine, Coral Avenue Magazine, CanvasRebel Magazine, PRAZE magazine and more.
Style and Influence
Watts is mostly influenced by a respect for Fadil Berisha, the main photographer for the Miss Universe Organization in the 2000s and 2010s[1].
