Engulfed Inn Flames is a music project led by James A. Miller from Casper, Wyoming making music in the genre of alternative rock and alternative metal.


Engulfed Inn Flames has released 2 independent albums and 8 singles. Their first single "Spontaneous Human Combustion" was released on October 11, 2024[1] followed by "Rage" on October 22, 2024[2]. The singles "Putting The X In Christmas"[3] and "Leech"[4] were released in December 2024 which led up to the release of "Apologies In Advance" on December 30, 2024[5]. "Let Me Go" was released on February 20, 2025[6] and is on the album "Empty" released on March 5, 2025[7][8]. Additionally, Engulfed Inn Flames released a cover of "Are You Ready" by Three Days Grace on May 26, 2025[9].

Engulfed Inn Flames changed their name from Engulfed In Flames in hopes of preventing any controversy or legal issues from any similarities to other band names[10].

Live Performances

Engulfed Inn Flames performed life at David Street Station[11] in Casper, Wyoming and has not played any live shows since. However, musician James A. Miller has held previous livestreams playing music by Engulfed Inn Flames on various platforms including Twitch[12] and YouTube[13].

Musical Influences

Miller has listed bands Abandoned Pools, Seether, and Three Days Grace as major inspirations in music. In addition, Miller stated that Fall Out Boy was one of his earliest inspirations who led him to pursue making music in the first place[10].

Engulfed Inn Flames has worked with several different session musicians as well as music producers in the past for some of the released music. These people include Mauricio M. (Session Guitarist) who was performed the guitar on songs "Rage" and "Too Far," Glenn Welman (Session Drummer) who performed drums on the song "Rage," Ronin S. (Session Guitarist) who performed guitar on the song "Are You Ready,"[14] David Prosperi (Session Drummer) who performed drums on the song "Too Far," Jacob Williams (Producer) who worked on the song "Rage," Ernesto R. (Session Vocalist) who composed part of the song, "Rage," Eric Castiglia (Producer) who produced the song "Let Me Go," Alex A. (Producer) who produced songs "Solitude" and "Premonition," Vaizal Andrians (Producer) who produced the song "Leech," Ljupco S. (Producer) who produced songs "Change," "Putting The X In Christmas," and "Sacred"; Kevin C. (Sound Engineer) who mixed and mastered the song "Get Out,"[15] and Victor Mancini (Mixing and Mastering Engineer) who worked on songs "Let Me Go," "Repulsive," and "Sacred."
