History and Global Operations
EnlightV was established on August 3, 2015, by Li Lin, a former algorithm engineer with a background in digital signal processing.[3] The company has expanded its footprint to become an international provider of professional AV solutions, maintaining a dedicated service and distribution hub in Las Vegas, United States. In 2025, EnlightV’s "Miniature Virtual Production" solution was recognized as a finalist for the Inter BEE Award in Japan for its innovation in content production and broadcasting technology.[4]
Products and Technical Capabilities
- Hirender: A flagship media server application designed for high-resolution, multi-screen synchronization. It utilizes a proprietary HVC (Hirender Video Coding) format that supports hardware-accelerated decoding of 16K video assets and 4K60Hz signals. It is widely used for projection mapping and ultra-large LED splicing.[5][2]
- hecoos: A full-process virtual production system that supports real-time 3D rendering and integration with the Unreal Engine. In 2026, EnlightV collaborated with global LED manufacturer Absen at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) show to demonstrate markerless motion capture solutions for immersive interactive environments, eliminating the need for specialized wearable devices.[6]
Notable Projects
EnlightV technology has been implemented in several major international events:
- 2025 Osaka World Expo: The company is a technical provider for the international exposition, supplying professional media servers and playback control systems for various exhibition areas, including the China Pavilion.[1]
- 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games: EnlightV's distributed cluster systems managed the synchronization of over 100 million pixels across massive ground and mesh LED displays for the opening and closing ceremonies.[7]
- 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics: Served as the core broadcasting control provider for the Bird's Nest stadium ceremonies, outputting 27 channels of synchronized 4K signals to the world's largest LED floor screen (11,626 square meters).[3][5]
Research and Development
As of 2025, the company holds multiple authorized invention patents from the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), including a "Dynamic Mask Blending Method for Ultra-High-Definition Video" (Patent CN120434445A), designed for large-scale multi-window display environments.[8]
