The meme started when TikTok user Jeremiah Springfield edited one of Bowens' 2022 reaction videos.[1] It made it look like Bowens only had one eye and dreadlock.[2] This quickly spread across TikTok and other social media platforms. [3] People soon pared it up with other popular memes during the time.[4]
