Overview
FreeT Canada provides mobile telecommunications services in Canada through partnerships with local network carriers. The service includes support for Korean mobile number–based SMS authentication, allowing users to maintain access to Korean mobile verification systems while residing in Canada.[4][5]
History
In 2025, Free Telecom entered the Canadian telecommunications market and launched the FreeT Canada brand.[6]
In July 2025, TELUS announced a partnership with Free Telecom to introduce a dual connectivity mobile plan at the Toronto Korean Festival, enabling users to access Canadian and Korean mobile services on a single device.[7]
