Career

Karting

Kelstrup began karting in 2017, making his debut in the Juniors 125 class of the Kristianstad KK Grande Finale, coming in 12th. In 2018 he participated in the Swedish Kart League in the OKJ category and finished in 24th.

Making the step up to OK karting in 2019 with TK Racing, he competed in a variety of WSK branded events and came 5th in the Swedish Championship. The Dane only did two karting events in 2020, the WSK Super Master Series with TK Racing, coming in 54th, and finishing 6th in the Swedish Championship.

F4 Spanish Championship

He made his single-seater debut in 2021, competing in the 2021 F4 Spanish Championship for MP Motorsport. At the first round, Kelstrup recorded his maiden car racing win at the second race at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, and got a second podium at the next round in Navarra. These would be the best results of his season, as he ended the drivers championship in 10th, with one win, two podiums and 65 points.[3]

For the 2022, he joined Campos Racing, and managed to score one podium throughout the season: a second place at the second round at Circuito de Jerez. He ended the championship in 5th position with one podium and 105 points.[4]

GT3

Kelstrup ended his single-seater exploits and instead moved to the 2023 Italian GT Championship Sprint class in the Pro-Am category for AKM Motorsport, partnering Gustavo Sandrucci. They came third in their first race at Misano Circuit, and also won the next race. Another podium as achieved two rounds later at Mugello Circuit, and retired from the final race of the season at Imola Circuit. The duo finished the season in 5th, with 75 points, one win and three podiums.
