Gil Alberto Atencio Yearwood (born 5 June 1996) is a Panama-born professional basketball player who plays as a power forward for Club Social y Deportivo Urupan in the Liga Uruguaya de Básquetbol.

College career
Atencio played collegiate basketball at St. Clair College in Canada, where he developed foundational skills before embarking on his professional career.
Professional career
Atencio’s professional journey spans multiple Latin American leagues:
- In Panama, he competed in the Liga Profesional de Baloncesto (LPB).
- In Chile, he played in both the Liga DOS and the Liga Nacional de Básquetbol with CD Español de Osorno and Atlético Puerto Varas.
- In Uruguay, he signed with Club Social y Deportivo Urupan for the 2025 season as a reinforcement after his contributions to the Panamanian national team.[1]
- In Mexico, he had a stint with Correcaminos UAT Victoria in the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP).
