Founded in 2008, the company provides digital strategy, web and app design, ecommerce, performance marketing, and AI driven transformation services.[1][2] Granite operates offices in Cork, Dublin, Galway, Belfast, New York, and Dubai.[3]

History
Granite Digital was founded in late 2008 in Cork by Conor Buckley, Seamus White, Robert Carpenter, and Ger O'Shea.[3] The company appeared on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 list for four consecutive years from 2016 to 2019, recognising rapid revenue growth.[4]
Acquisitions
Beginning in 2020, Granite pursued an acquisitive growth strategy. In August 2020, the company acquired Cork based creative agency Connector for approximately €1 million.[5] In May 2022, Granite acquired Dublin based ecommerce specialist Willows Consulting,[6] followed by digital services agency Continuum in November 2022.[7]
In June 2023, Granite expanded internationally by acquiring a majority stake in New York based LCM247's digital division, marking the company's entry into the United States market.[8][9] In July 2023, Granite acquired Galway based enterprise digital product agency Armour.[10]
Further acquisitions followed: Dublin based digital design agency WONDR in May 2024,[11] Limerick based data science agency Coalface in November 2024,[12] Belfast based Zesty from News UK & Ireland in August 2025,[13] and Northern Ireland based Creative Media in March 2026, the company's ninth acquisition overall.[1][14]
Investment and expansion
In November 2025, Granite secured a $10 million investment from BGF to accelerate its international expansion, particularly into the United States.[2][15][16]
Recognition
Granite was named Large Agency of the Year at the Spider Awards in both 2024 and 2026, and won Best in eCommerce at the same ceremony.[17][18] The company was named eCommerce Large Agency of the Year at the Irish eCommerce Awards for three consecutive years and was certified as a Best Workplace in Ireland by Great Place to Work in 2023.[19]
