Political views

Fehlinger-Jahn opposes Sinn Féin and Irish reunification, accusing them of being a "pro-Russian propaganda organisation."
Fehlinger-Jahn is a military interventionist. He supported the Invasion of Iraq in 2003 and the NATO intervention in Libya in 2011, considering them successes since they eliminated "the socialist Gaddafi" and "the nationalist genocidal socialist terrorist regime of Saddam Hussein."
Fehlinger-Jahn has strongly criticised Serbia[3]. Fehlinger-Jahn has also declared that "anyone who refuses to recognise Kosovo should be doubted as belonging to the free world."

Controversies
The role of Fehlinger-Jahn as leader of a pro-Nato non-governmental organisation has led to several misunderstandings due to him claiming to speak for the military alliance. Following a tweet in which Fehlinger called for Nikol Pashinyan to re-join NATO and Joe Biden to protect Armenia, the Armenian vice-minister of Foreign Affairs Vahan Kostanyan declared that Fehlinger-Jahn was simply the head of a non-governmental organisation avec the word "NATO" in its name.
#ExRussia
Fehlinger-Jahn is noted for his activism on Twitter and Instagram proposing the dismantling of Russia since he considers the its government to be imperialist and colonialist. Fehlinger-Jahn believes this dismantling should donner should result in the creation of 41 new republics on former Russian territory[6], so a major part of it is in the sphere of influence of the EU and NATO (if there is no immediate integration). This division would be the result of either of internal collapse of the Russian government or western intervention.
The comments from Fehlinger-Jahn on the dismantlement of Russia have resulted in opposition from Russian vice-minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Grushko, who rejected Fehlinger-Jahn's proposal as being a "grand fantasy"[7]. A source coming from Russia analysed the theory of ExRussia, and, starting from his place of birth, had concluded that Felhinger-Jahn is Hitler's grandson, an anecdote which he utilises when speaking about his relations with Russia.
Proposed Division of Brazil, Iran, Nigeria, China and Syria
On 25 August 2023, following the participation of Brazil at the 15th BRICS summit, Fehlinger declared in response that if president Lula "steers Brazil in the same direction as Russia, China, and Iran" and re-joins an "an axis of genocidal states", "he would call to dismantle Brazil." Fehlinger included a map showing the division of Brazil into four fragmented states each with their respective regimes : Amazon, "Pedronia," Recife and Brazil.
After his tweet went viral, Fehlinger-Jahn became the target of false allegations in the reply section who attributed this tweet as the official position of NATO, Reuters reported that a video making such allegations had been viewed over 250000 times on Facebook. In a statement, Fehlinger clarified on Twitter that he "does not represent NATO" officially and that "NATO has no intention of dismantling Brazil or any other country." A statement from NATO further declared that "all allegations according to NATO wishes invader or divide Brazil completely absurd."[8]
In fact, Fehlinger-Jahn has extended this rhetoric to Russia (dismantling and democratisation) and other large and authoritarian states : #ExChina, #ExBrasil, #ExIran, #ExSyria, #ExNigeria, etc.
Anti-Macedonian Views
Fehlinger-Jahn has demanded that Macedonia abolish holidays that Bulgaria considers offensive, like the Day of the Macedonian Revolutionary Struggle and that Macedonia starts to celebrate 4 April as NATO Day[9].
Anti-Serbian Views
Fehlinger is known anti-Serbian posts on social media. He has demanded that Serbia recognise the sovereignty of Kosovo and Scotland, impose sanctions on Russia, have the Ukrainian flag on display at the Serbian presidential residence in Belgrade and that the hotel Tito be renamed to the hotel Merkel[10]. During his visit to Belgrade, he demanded that the monument dedicated to Milica Rakić be replaced with a monument dedicated to Angela Merkel[11] and took a photo with the flags of NATO, Germany and Albania[12]. He published a photo with the NATO flag in Belgrade the day of the anniversary of the start of the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia and thanked NATO for the bombings. He is on good terms with laywer Čedomir Stojković who invited him to a conference in Belgrade[13]
Fehlinger-Jahn's actions provoked anger amongst the Serbian public and diaspora. Soon after this, his phone number and address in Vienna were made public. After this event, Fehlinger-Jahn has stated that he received messages from "Serb extremists" throughout the night.[12]
Pop Culture
Gunther Fehlinger-Jahn appeared in the mod The Fire Rises, of the video game Hearts of Iron IV. This one is playable as president of the European Union, which allows players to apply his policies in the game[14]. In 2025, he played this mod live on his YouTube channel alongside youtubers who specialised in the game[15][16]. Fehlinger-Jahn later did this another time with one of the most well-known streamers of this game, Dankus Memecus, after the popularity of the first live in the Hoi4 community. On May 3, 2026, Fehlinger-Jahn led a team of 6 other players playing different European nations in a 7 vs 1 against Russian streamer GrishaPutin in a live stream.
Felhinger-Jahn is very active on social media platforms such as X, YouTube, Instagram, reposting, liking and commenting on posts relating to his interests, most often memes. He also publishes his own memes aligned with his ideas. These memes tend to garner a lot of reactions due to their radical nature. The tensions the United States and European Union had from 2025-2026 made Felhinger-Jahn noticeably re-approach pro-European federalist messaging on social media platforms because both parties are aligned when it comes to the question of a militarily strong European NATO, in addition to being more aggressive towards Russia and for a more globally powerful Europe.
