She is known for her work in film, television, theater, dance, and electronic music, releasing material under the moniker Heliosphere 8. Her film scores have premiered at major international festivals and been featured in museum exhibitions and media projects.

Early life and education
Hayley Moss was born and raised in New York City. She studied video and performance art at the San Francisco Art Institute. Although self-taught as a composer, Moss has built a career scoring for screen and stage.[1]

Moss has composed music for national advertising campaigns for brands including Heineken, Ford, Lincoln Mercury, Mazda, Saturn, Nationwide, GE, Pier One, Qwest, Audi, IBM, Neutrogena, MTV, and others. She has also collaborated with electronic artists, including Peter Rauhofer. Moss releases electronic music under the name Heliosphere 8.[12][13][14]
