Hyupban (Korean: 협반) is an upcoming South Korean television series directed by Lee Min-woo and starring Jang Keun-suk. Based on Japanese novel Otoko Meshi, it tells the story of a gangster with exceptional cooking skills who saves a college student in danger and hides out at his place, bonding over food and finding comfort in shared meals.

Production
In March 2026, Jang Keun-suk was cast in the lead role of Ma Han-sang. Based on Japanese novel Otoko Meshi, the series will be helmed by Lee Min-woo, known for works such as popular series Boys Over Flowers (2009) and Not Others 2023). Principal photography is scheduled to commence in the first half of 2026.[1]
