Draft:Iberê Thenório

Iberê Francisco Thenório was born in Sorocaba, São Paulo, on December 4, 1981. Shortly after leaving the maternity hospital, he moved to Piedade. At the age of 14, he developed an interest in working with computers and attended a technical high school specializing in data processing. By the age of 16, he had worked in various jobs, beginning with selling radishes, which he later described as "a fiasco". He later worked as a waiter at the rock bar Cavern Club Bar, which closed within a year. He also worked as a woodcarver and sold wooden signs alongside his father, Edélcio.^[10]

At 17, Thenório sought "a life with more adventures" and decided to pursue a career as a journalist. Interested in the University of São Paulo (USP), he moved to his aunt's house and worked as an office assistant at a fertilizer store. He first took the university entrance exam in 2000 but did not advance to the second stage. With money he had saved, he enrolled in a preparatory course and, in the 2001 FUVEST exam, ranked 53rd. After running out of money, he studied independently for up to twelve hours a day, developing an interest in chemistry and physics. The following year, he was admitted to the University of São Paulo and moved to São Paulo.^[10]

Thenório first met Mariana de Assis Fulfaro at an anatomy museum,^[11] and they later began dating. They married in 2008. After graduating, Thenório began working as a journalist but, inspired by his childhood experiments and creations, he decided to teach others by recording simple videos using borrowed cameras. This project eventually became known as Manual do Mundo.^[10]
