Igor Babulin is a Russian historian specialising in the military history of Russia in the XVI-XVII centuries and relations between the Russian state and the Cossack Hetmanate. He graduated from the history department of the Kaluga State Pedagogical Institute in 1993.[1] He is a candidate of Historical sciences and the author to many monographs.[2][3]
