Early life and education
Jesse Keyser attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where he studied business economics. Prior to entering the franchising sector, he worked in the technology startup industry during the late 1990s and early 2000s.[1]
Career
In 2005, Keyser transitioned into franchising, initially operating a Little Caesars location. He co-founded Keyser Enterprises with his brother, Charles Keyser. As of 2026, the firm operates over 50 franchise locations across multiple brands, including Sport Clips, Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning, and Waxing the City.[2]
Keyser is a prominent advocate for franchisee rights and business transparency. He has testified on legislative issues such as the American Franchise Act and the National Labor Relations Board's joint-employer standards. Jesse has also advocated for legislative transparency in healthcare billing to reduce costs for small business employers.[3]
