Joseck M. Asikoye is a Kenyan musician, songwriter, and producer, best known as a founding member of the roots music ensemble Jabali Afrika.[1] Over a career spanning more than three decades, Asikoye has served as an international cultural ambassador for Kenya, representing African music and arts at events including the 2002 Winter Olympics[2] and the inauguration of Barack Obama as the President of the United States in 2008.[3]

Beyond his performance career, Asikoye is a figure in African cultural diplomacy, serving as a Music Director and Curator for FESTAC and the Harmony for Haiti initiative.[3] His work focuses on the integration of Africa's creative economy through music, film, and international exchange programs.[3]
