Joseph Bakasu (born 25 August 2003) is a Congolese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Moroccan club Wydad AC.
Early life
Bakasu was born in Kindu, Democratic Republic of the Congo.[1]
Club career
Bakasu began his career in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, playing for local clubs including New Jak FC in Kinshasa and FC Blessing in Kolwezi. He later joined AS Maniema Union, where he featured in the CAF Champions League.[2]
On 25 July 2025, Bakasu signed a three-year contract with Moroccan club Wydad AC on a free transfer from AS Maniema Union.[3][4]
