The company is included in the commercial register of the canton of Zurich.[4] It appears on the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) list of licensed portfolio managers and trustees, with OSFINcontrol AG listed as its supervisory organisation.[5]
History
Kalle Mannerkorpi, who had previously been identified in EFG annual reports as First Vice President (FVP) at EFG Bank in Zurich, founded the company in 2014. [1][6] Another member of the board is Claudio Felix Villatora, who has joint signing authority and is mentioned in the business registry.[4][7]
In 2020, the KM Nordic Invest shifted its exposure from cyclical and Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix and Google (FAANG) stocks to pharmaceutical shares and precious metals. The company concentrated on direct deals with private equity and venture capital, as well as investments in hedge funds and third-party portfolios as part of its asset management business. [8]
The firm’s goal was to provide all types of investment advice to private and institutional clients based in Switzerland or abroad.[9] In June 2023, the company modified its purpose to operate as an asset manager under Article 17(1) of Swiss Financial Institutions Act (FinIA), to manage assets, and to provide related support services.[10]
In June 2023, Peter Sigrist joined the firm as partner.[11] In February 2024, he was entered in the commercial register as deputy manager with joint signature.[12] In September 2024, Philip Husi became a partner in the company.[13]
In January 2025, the company increased its share capital from CHF 100,000 to CHF 200,000. [14]
