Kalpataru Limited is an Indian real estate, engineering, and infrastructure conglomerate headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra.[2] Established in 1969,[2] the company has built various residential, commercial, and retail projects across the country.[3] Reports credit Kalpataru with introducing the concept of 1.5-bedroom homes in India.[4] Through its engineering arm, Kalpataru Projects International Limited, the company has also operates globally, providing EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) solutions.[5] Kalpataru has delivered over 120 projects covering 25 lakh square metres. The market capitalisation of Kalpataru Limited is approximately ₹8,226 crore.[6]

History
Kalpataru Limited was founded in 1969 by Mofatraj P. Munot.[8] The company introduced the concept of 1.5-bedroom apartment design and developed LEED-certified green building projects.[4]
Kalpataru Limited has developed high-end, mid-segment residential, commercial, and retail projects in Mumbai, Thane, Goa, Pune, Hyderabad, Lonavala, and other cities.[9][10][11]
In the 2000s, Kalpataru Limited started working on pan-India and global EPC projects through Kalpataru Projects International Limited, which undertakes transmission and distribution, water infrastructure, oil and gas pipelines, railways, highways, and urban mobility contracts in over 75 countries.[5]
In 2025, the firm launched its ₹1,600 crore IPO included anchor investments amounting to ₹708 crore from institutional investors.[1][12][13][14][15]
