Kenneth R. Webster (also known as Kenny Webster) is an American radio host, producer, comedian, and columnist based in Houston, Texas. He is best known as the executive producer and co-host of the syndicated radio program The Walton & Johnson Show, as well as the host of Kenny Webster's Pursuit of Happiness on KPRC AM 950.[1]

Career

Radio broadcasting

Webster's early career in radio included working as a cast member and producer on The Mancow Show and The Michael Berry Show.[2]

He is currently the executive producer and an on-air personality for The Walton & Johnson Show, a nationally syndicated morning radio program broadcast across the Gulf Coast.[3][4] In addition to his work on the morning broadcast, Webster hosts his own afternoon talk program, Kenny Webster's Pursuit of Happiness, which airs on KPRC AM 950 and is distributed as a podcast by iHeartRadio.[5]

Journalism and writing

Outside of broadcasting, Webster has worked as a columnist and writer. He has contributed opinion pieces and commentary to publications including the Houston Chronicle and Breitbart News.[6]

Comedy and animation

Webster performs as a touring stand-up comedian. In 2026, he participated in The Right Side of Comedy: The Gulf of America Tour at the House of Blues in Houston, featuring Webster alongside comedians Jesse Peyton and Alex Stein.[6]

He has also contributed voice-over acting, original music, and audio production to the animated series Homeless Cop, which was featured on Adult Swim.[7]

Philanthropy

Through his comedy events and radio platforms, Webster has helped raise funds for several charitable organizations and causes, including Operation Comedy Therapy, Wheelchairs for Warriors, The Sunshine Kids, and Citizens for Animal Protection.[6]
