Kevin Mayhew (13 December 1942–14 January 2021) was an English publisher and composer, best known as the founder of Kevin Mayhew Publishers.

He was educated at Westminster Cathedral Choir School and St Edmund's College, Ware, and then worked for Ascherberg Publishers and for the Catholic Herald.[1]
In 1976, he founded Kevin Mayhew Ltd. which still bears his name.[1] In the same year, he composed his best known musical piece, the hymn Peace, perfect peace, is the gift of Christ our Lord.[1][2][3]
