History
LMI Technologies was founded in 1998 by Leonard Metcalfe through the consolidation of several vision and sensing companies based in Canada, Sweden, and the Netherlands.
In 2009, Metcalfe stepped down as chief executive officer (CEO) and was succeeded by Terry Arden, who had previously served as the company’s chief technology officer.
