Biography
In 1937, he held the position of president of the Branch of Xiaguan Merchant, the Red Cross Society of China. In that fall, the Xiaguan Merchant Branch was rebranded as the Xiaguan Office of the Nanjing Branch of the Red Cross Society of China. During the Nanjing massacre, after the Nanjing branch relocated to Chongqing, the Xiaguan Merchant Office conducted relief operations on behalf of the Nanjing Branch, leading some documents to designate Lee Chun Nan as the president of the Nanjing Branch of the Red Cross Society of China.[2][3] He held the position of vice president of the Nanjing Committee of the International Red Cross and participated in refugee assistance efforts.[4]
