Employee ownership
Litehouse is an employee owned organization. The first 30% of the company was sold to employees in 2006 under an employee stock ownership program, and the remainder of the equity was sold in December, 2014. Employees receive additional shares as the company grows, which they sell back to the company when they retire.[7]
Critical reception
In October 2025, Food & Wine ranked Litehouse Homestyle Ranch Dressing & Dip among the top 5 national brands by taste.[8] Similar earlier reviews from outlets such as Buzzfeed,[9] Southern Living,[10] and The Today Show[11] also generally rated Litehouse Homestyle Ranch favorably.
