Louis Grassi is an American accountant and the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Grassi, an advisory, tax and accounting firm headquartered in New York.

Lou Grassi founded the firm in 1980 on Long Island and today has 12 office locations in New York, Long Island, Westchester, White Plains, New Jersey, Florida, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Colorado. The company provides advisory, tax, accounting and auditing services to industries including Construction, Architecture & Engineering, Manufacturing & Distribution, Nonprofit, Healthcare, Technology and Professional Services. 

In 2023, Grassi transitioned to an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), receiving coverage from national industry media and business publications for its alternative practice structure[1]. Louis has authored and contributed to op-eds and thought leadership exploring the client, recruitment, and internal culture benefits of employee ownership in Forbes,Accounting Today, Long Island Business News, Journal of Accountancy and Crain’s New York Business.
