Lucy Mackinnon is an American projection designer and motion graphics artist. She is best known for her work on Broadway, including All Out: Comedy About Ambition (2025), All In: Comedy About Love (2024), The Notebook (2024), Kimberly Akimbo (2022), A Christmas Carol (2022), How I Learned to Drive (2022), Jagged Little Pill (2019), The Rose Tattoo (2019), Lifespan of a Fact (2018), Six Degrees of Separation (2017), and the Deaf West revival of Spring Awakening (2015). She has been nominated for two Tony Awards, including the Tony Award for Best Scenic Design of a Musical for Jagged Little Pill and the Tony Award for Best Scenic Design of a Play for A Christmas Carol.

Education
Mackinnon graduated with a BA from Harvard College in 2009, where she studied Comparative Literature.[1] Since 2022, she has taught Projection Design as an adjunct faculty member at Brooklyn College.[2]
