Career
The band gained success after their first single "Matador" went viral on TikTok in June 2024.[1]
The lead singer Sophie Morgan said to Far Out that the name of the group is inspired by "The Love Cats" single by The Cure, and quoted the band as one of her main inspirations.[2]
Luvcat headed their first show at Paper Dress Vintage in London on 3 July 2024.[3]
